Present Day

   Most present day games have minor advancements. In spent day games you never use guns. They cause too much damage and they kill too easily. You would have some type of blaster or laser cannon. Special powers are very rare because magic is outdated and psionics are too advanced.

    You would usually have this game start on earth with some kind of war. Then when you finished the war you would move on and start space travail. These are the hardest games to run because they will never stay in the present. Ether the war will destroy all the technology and you will revert to sword fighting times, or the society will get too advanced and it will become futuristic.
